Clinical studies provide information on indication-related concepts that demonstrate a good prognosis of implant survival rates and implant success rates. Immediate loading\, which is mostly long-term provisionalized\, is a procedure that ensures a comparable prognosis to late restorations if suitable case selections are made. \nThe advantages of immediate implant placement include reduced overall treatment time and\, in combination with immediate loading\, immediate placement of a fixed provisional restoration. \nImmediate restorations are very positively evaluated by patients and can consequently be included in a practice concept. In this lecture\, clinical aspects of immediate loading and immediate implant placement will be comprehensively discussed in theory and on the basis of treatment cases.
