We cordially invite you to participate in the PROSEC Webinar on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

Join Prof. Dr. Jens Türp (UZB, Switzerland) to hear her lecture:
What are the clinically and radiologically identifiable features of bruxism?

The following link will take you to the PROSEC Facebook page. There you can start the Livestream at 6 pm CET. https://www.facebook.com/prosec.networks/

We recommend that you log in on Facebook before starting the Livestream. This prevents any interruptions due to Facebook’s login requests.

What is the topic of the webinar?
“Bruxism” ‒ teeth grinding and/or jaw clenching ‒ may be used to relieve emotional stress, but it can also cause damage to dental hard tissues and restorations, as well as tension and pain in the masticatory muscles and temporomandibular joints. Patients are often unaware of these parafunctions.

In this lecture, we will show how a structured clinical and radiologic examination (panoramic radiograph) can be used to determine relatively easily whether a patient has clinically relevant bruxism. The lecture will conclude with a discussion of the clinical management of bruxism.
